Check out the other levels of this quiz: Easy – Hard – Extreme
If you have just taken our Easy quiz, there is a chance you are feeling confident to try something harder. The Medium edition takes everything to a new level by playing with name structures. Decades ago, many automakers used to select a specific theme from which to take their car names. Each question below uses one of those cases with a plot twist: you have to guess which option does not belong to that automaker.
Unfortunately, that naming strategy did more harm than good. By limiting the company’s choice, it made things difficult in moments when big changes were necessary. Besides, while such consistency is pleasant, the truth is that most customers prefer to be surprised, even if it is about car names. Nowadays, most companies are using either independent words or alphanumeric codes to name their latest concoctions.
